Location & Grounds
The Peninsula Hotel sits on a tranquil grassy peninsula within 5 acres of landscaped gardens, overlooking Grand Havre Bay on Guernsey's north-west coast. It is the only hotel on the island with direct beach access without crossing a road. A bus stop directly outside the hotel provides easy connections to St Peter Port and the coastal bus routes around the island.
Dining & Bar
Bar Du Nord, the hotel's newly opened restaurant and bar, offers crafted cocktails and local dishes made with locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant features a menu that includes gluten-free options upon request, and the bar area serves well-made cocktails including a weekly cocktail special. The hotel also offers a full-service restaurant with a varied dinner menu and a buffet breakfast with hot items, fruit, cereals, and pastries.
Pool & Beach
The outdoor swimming pool is heated during the summer months and includes a separate children's pool, with a fence around the pool for safety. The pool area is surrounded by comfortable loungers and a pretty walled garden with roses. Guests also have direct access to a sandy bay just a two-minute walk away, with two beautiful sandy beaches within easy reach.
Rooms & Suites
Rooms offer stunning panoramic views of Grand Havre Bay from many sea-view accommodations, and the hotel has recently refurbished public areas while maintaining a traditional island charm. Guests have access to a free laundry room with washing machines and tumble dryers for a small fee of £1.50 per wash and dry.
